A $100 million feature film titled 'City of the Lost Spirits' will be shot entirely in Petra, Jordan. The action adventure film, which will have a style similar to Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark, will be co-developed and produced by Unizarre International, a UK-based film and TV production company with Jordan's Blaze Agency.

Written by Jordanian writer/director, Sandra Kawar, the film will explore the myths and legends of Petra over a history of 3,000 years.

The film will hit screens in two years if things go according to schedule, commented Kawar, who is also Blaze Agency's creative director.

Unizarre International's CEO/President David Bowles confirmed that his company has ‘completed negotiations with Jordan for the new major international feature film project... covering 3,000 years of magical myths and legends of the ancient city of Petra'.
