3 Metro stations on Dubai's SZR closed on burst water pipe

Three Dubai Metro stations closed on Saturday morning due to a burst water pipe on Shaikh Zayed Road, according to a report.

DIFC, Mall of the Emirates and Nakheel Harbour and Tower

metro stations were suspended on Saturday morning due to a water pipe burst between interchanges 2 and 3 on Shaikh Zayed Road, Gulf News reported.

However, trains were stopping at the DIFC metro station and shuttle buses transported passengers, the UAE-based daily added.

The pipe burst occurred early morning and the DEWA emergency team is working to fix it, according to Gulf News.

Meanwhile, the Metro’s normal service resumed just after midday, the daily said.
