Thirty entrepreneurs, hosted by Dubai SME, will participate in this year's Global Village, giving them access to a market of over five million people during the 2017-18 season.
The participating SMEs will pay a nominal fee for renting space at Global Village for the duration of the entire event period.
The 30 projects represent various segments and will avail of incentive benefits and discounts porvided by Dubai SME, which are designed to help them to gain their foothold in business.
Dubai SME's objective is to engage entrepreneurs in experiences that enable them showcase their products and start their trading activities, according to Saeed Matar Al Marri, deputy CEO of Dubai SME.
He said the partnership with the Global Village works in synch with the large numbers of visitors expected, which is estimated to be in the millions.
Developed as a resource for support and outreach for the growing small and medium enterprise sector, Dubai SME is supporting the entrepreneurs as part of a wider initiative to facilitate opportunities for small businesses that will in the futuire contribute to the economy of both Dubai and the UAE.
