The Arts Club will open its first overseas club in Dubai in 2019 as part of ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC
ICD Brookfield Place, the $1 billion development by the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), and Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management, will include The Arts Club, a renowned private members club.
ICD Brookfield has signed a pre-let agreement for 63,000 sq. ft with The Arts Club, one of the first ever private members’ clubs in London, to open its first international location in Dubai next year.
Founded in 1863 by visionaries of the arts, The Arts Club’s members included Charles Dickens, and its London building offers members the finest restaurants, including the Japanese Kyubi, as well as year-round garden, drawing rooms and Leo’s nightclub.
Similarly in Dubai, the Arts Club at ICD Brookfield Place will occupy five floors of the 53-storey tower – which is under construction – and will have a rooftop terrace, three restaurants and bars, a cigar club, art exhibition spaces and a business centre.
The agreement is the first retail announcement for ICD Brookfield Place. Located in the DIFC, and designed by Foster + Partners, the tower will have 980,000 sq. ft. of Grade A commercial space and 150,000 sq. ft. of retail space, connected to the tower by a half acre public realm to be activated by a year-round programme of arts and cultural events.
In addition to the private members club, the retail offering at ICD Brookfield Place will include a health and fitness club, gourmet food hall and al fresco dining experiences.

ICD Brookfield Place will become one of the most prominent new addresses in Dubai, set between Al Sa’ada Street and Gate Avenue, with a diverse mix of amenities.
