3i Infotech is set to launch version 10 of its popular insurance software, Premia, at Gitex. The product, which was originally created for the Middle East region, has now been upgraded to meet global insurance requirements.

The company, which states that the majority of insurance premium in the region is written using the Premia solution, boasts customers such as AIG, Emirates Insurance, and Marsh Insco, as well as many leading Takaful Insurance companies such as Al Rajhi Islamic Insurance Company.

At this year’s event, the company also intends to display its range of products and services for sectors as varied as banking, financial services and insurance, government, manufacturing, retail and distribution. Commenting on 3i Infotech’s participation in the event, Hari Padmanabhan, 3i Infotech’s executive director, says: “We have found new channel partners at every Gitex. As the interest in our products has increased, so have our number of channel partners across Middle East and Africa, which today number over forty. With a very wide range offerings in the products and services space, 3i Infotech will continue to look for partners and to re-establish its brand by participating in Gitex.”
