Kuwait reports 119 more Covid-19 cases

Kuwaiti authorities have detected another 119 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country, bringing its total to 1,524.

According to Health Ministry spokesperson Abdullah Al-Sanad, deaths in the country stand at three.

Of the patients that are in hospital, 32 remain in intensive care, with 16 in critical condition.

Earlier this week, Kuwait announced that airlines have been given the green light to operate outbound flights for expatriates from Kuwait.

The country had previously ordered a complete shutdown of passenger flights from March 13.
