Kuwait's death toll now stands at 129

Kuwait announces 1,041 new Covid-19 cases

Kuwait has announced 1,041 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 18,609, it was announced on Thursday.

Additionally, five more deaths were reported, bringing Kuwait’s death toll to 129.

According to the UAE’s state-run Kuwait News Agency, 181 patients are still in intensive care units, while 454 others completed their compulsory institutional quarantine period over 24 hours.

Earlier in the day, Kuwait’s health ministry confirmed that 320 more people had recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 5,205.

Globally, there have been over 5.1 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, including 330,400 deaths.

More than 2 million people have recovered from the virus.
