6 new swine flu cases in UAE

All patients, who came from overseas, have fully recovered and been discharged from local hospitals.

Six new cases of swine flu (H1N1) were reported in the UAE on Tuesday by the Ministry of Health.

All six patients, who came to the UAE from other countries, have since fully recovered and been discharged from local hospitals, the Ministry said.

"This brings to 20 the total number of swine flu patients who were discharged from hospitals upon full recovery."

The Ministry added that the comprehensive plan put in place by the relevant UAE authorities to deal with swine flu cases has proven to have been effective in treating all H1N1 cases.
