Time is never on your side when you live in a fast-paced city; especially in the mornings. If you’re anything like us and you make the mistake of skipping breakfast, try these quick meals that you can make and have at your desk.

A refrigerated fruit salad doesn't sound as good as a fresh one, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it better. Grab a salad from a nearby market and throw in some ricotta and nuts. Pour some honey on top and you’ve got yourself a creamy, crunchy breakfast.

Avocado toast is always a good idea, but if you’re not up for the hassle of cutting open an avocado at your desk, grab a finger vegetable salad instead and place the sliced cucumbers or carrots on toast with labneh.

If there’s a quick power breakfast to be had at your desk, it’s banana and peanut butter. Grab a fresh banana and have it alongside a spoon of peanut butter. Keep a jar of butter in a fridge at work and switch it up by adding toast and honey to the equation.

Opt for quick oats using the microwave at the office and top it up with berries. If you like it crunchy, add some nuts such as almonds and walnuts. We like a bit of honey on our oats too.

We didn’t realise how good cheese crackers and berries are together until we tried them. Spread some cheese on light grain crackers and finish with sliced berries. Try peanut butter and honey instead of cheese if you want a sweeter breakfast.
