HydraFacial is a non-surgical procedure used by celebrities like Beyoncé, Cameron Diaz, and Matthew McConaughey
The American Surgecenter (ASC) in Abu Dhabi is offering a new non-invasive, non-surgical procedure used by celebrities like Beyoncé, Cameron Diaz, and Matthew McConaughey.
HydraFacial entails different procedures like cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, extraction and antioxidant protection.
“It is aimed at treating skin imperfections such as fine lines, wrinkles, congested and enlarged pores, oily or acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation and brown spots,” said massage therapist at ASC, Ruby Asis.
“As summer is upon us, HydraFacial is also an ideal treatment if you want hydrated skin as it helps with improved suppleness and elasticity of skin,” she added.
The process comprises of exfoliating dead skin cells and extracting dirt that clogs the pores, while simultaneously infusing the skin with nutrients and natural antioxidants.
According to the medical centre, HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types.
Other similar facials include the Hydra Anti-Aging, Hydra Collagen, Hydra Acne, and Hydra Lymphatic Drainage.
While both the Hydra Anti-Aging and Hydra Collagen decrease the appearance of wrinkles, the latter also uses LED light therapy to stimulate collagen production.
The Hydra Acne, on the other hand, helps decrease the amount of acne and excess oils in the skin.
Similarly, the Hydra Lymphatic Drainage improves circulation and eliminates toxins.
Each session of the HydraFacial costs AED700 ($190), while the packages start at AED2,380. The recommended amount of sessions, for noticeable results, is four.
As for The American Surgecenter, it is located on Mubarak Bin Mohammad Street in Al Rawdah, Abu Dhabi.
