Ahmediah Contracting & Trading Company has been awarded a US $137 million (KWD40 million) contract to build one of the largest retail and leisure centres in Kuwait.
The project, called 3600 Kuwait, will be located in the South Surra area and will measure 60,000m2 in total.
It will include a hypermarket, a 15-screen Cineplex, an IMAX theatre and a bowling centre.
Construction work is due to begin immediately and completion is expected by autumn 2008.
