Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai is now taking bookings ahead of an official opening date in 2023.
With its 2km of private beach, fire-breathing fountains, celebrity-backed restaurants and the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium Atlantis The Royal is, even by Dubai’s breathless standards, one of the most hotly anticipated hotel openings of the past decade.
The 43-storey cantilevered building, will feature 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms and 102 suites, all of which offer views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island.

French interior design expert Sybille de Margerie has reportedly commissioned a host of talented modern artists to personalise each residence.
The resort will also house 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop infinity pool on the 22nd floor, suspended 90 meters above ground level.
When opened, the hotel will also feature restaurants run by global celebrity chefs, some of which include Gastón Acurio, Costas Spiliadis, Ariana Bundy, Heston Blumenthal and José Andrés.

44 rooms at the upcoming property will have their own private infinity pool.

5.5tonnes of stainless steel were used to create the Droplets sculpture in the hotel lobby area.

Architectural design was undertaken by New York-based Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.

Atlantis says guests will have sea views from every room.

It also promises 18 new restaurants, six of which will come from world-famous celebrity chefs, all making their Dubai debut.

An en-suite bathroom complete with a standalone bath and marble floors.

Guests will have pillow menus to ensure a good night’s sleep.

The hotel design has been compared to the game Jenga, and is set to become another icon of Dubai architecture.
Prices for the hotel in Dubai are reported to start at around $850 a night. A sky pool villa is currently advertised at $5,240 a night while the three-bedroom sky terrace suite has a best available rate of $5,930.
