More firework shows are set to light up the skies at Palm Jumeirah this week. Following the pyrotechnic display for the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal last week, the ‘Firework Festival‘ is scheduled at The Pointe in celebration of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
The shows begun on January 24 and will continue until January 30. Shows will run every night starting at 9 PM.
“Taking it one step further, the largest fountain in the world is hosting brand new shows from sunset to midnight including ‘Joker and the Thief’ by Wolfmother to celebrate Australia Day on 26 January, and Xi Qi Yang Yang’ by The Wynners on the occasion of Chinese New Year on 30 January,” the official event website read.
Alongside the firework display, The Pointe will also feature light structures in partnership with DTCM.
Two light structures will be available for visitors to view; The Talking Head and Absorbed By Light.
The Pointe is a waterfront destination on the man-made island with retail stores, restaurants, cafes, as well as show and concert spaces.
