Epson has introduced two new 3LCD projectors for use in the classroom and the boardroom in the Middle East.
The EMP-62 features an SVGA resolution of 800 by 600 pixels and is intended for a range of multimedia applications – for example, presentations and educational software programs. The EMP-82 is suited for higher quality use and has an XGA resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels.
Both projectors feature quick-start functions, meaning that the user does not have to wait for the product to warm up, and can also be shut down quickly. They can project a 60-inch screen from a distance of only 1.8 metres and both feature 5W speakers to enable an audience to hear sound from a PC or video source.
There are two PC inputs, allowing input to be switched from one to the other during a presentation, and the projectors can also be connected to a DVD player or digital camera.
Khalil El-Dalu, general manager of Epson Middle East, said: “The EMP-62 and EMP-82 are designed for professionals who want a simple and stress-free solution for presenting when time is often limited. The EMP-62 is perfect for those on a budget, while the EMP-82 will suit those looking for extra detail in their presentations.”
