Iatco, a distributor of branded FMCG goods in Saudi Arabia, has invested in a new warehouse management system that will allow it to improve its control and monitoring of stocks, from ordering to through to shipping.
The company, which distributes more than 40 global brands, including Quaker Oats and Pampers nappies, invested in a warehouse management system from logistics specialist SSA Global, as part of its drive to improve its services across Saudi Arabia.SSA Global’s WMS 4000 3.9 system is expected to allow Iatco to better monitor the stock in its warehouses and distribution centres, improve product availability, and use space in its warehouses more efficiently. “SSA WMS’ solution has a proven track record in the industries we serve,” said Hisham El-Sawi, logistics and customer service manager at Iatco. “Their strong commitment to retail and third party logistics industry made it the ideal solution for our requirements.
