Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre has announced that one of the city’s main bridges will close for three weeks.
The Abu Dhabi transport authority has announced that a bridge connecting Al Maryah Island to Al Zahiyah will close from Wednesday, January 11 to Wednesday, February 1.
The ITC did not say why the bridge will close, but shared a map showing the closed road and suggesting alternative routes.

Confirming the bridge will be closed in one direction coming from Al Maryah Island to Al Zahiyah from midnight on Tuesday night until to 5am on Wednesday, February 1 the ITC urged road uses to drive cautiously and abide by traffic rules and regulations.
The bridge connecting Al Falah Street to Al Zahiyah, formerly known as the Tourist Club Area, will remain open and is an alternative route during the closure.
