Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will visit the UAE this week, its Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
The Pakistan PM was invited by President Sheikh Mohamed and will be in the UAE from January 12 to 13.
It is Sharif’s third visit to the UAE after assuming office.

The PM will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including key members of the Cabinet.
It is expected Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will meet Sheikh Mohamed to discuss advancing economic, trade and investment ties between the two nations.
They will also look to create new job opportunities in the UAE. The UAE is home to around 1.7 million Pakistani expats.
Sharif will also meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
During the visit, Sharif will hold meetings with leading Emirati businessmen and investors to discuss ways to enhance bilateral trade and investment.
The last calendar year recorded a $10.6bn in trade, “the highest volume in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region,” he added.
“The potential is much more. I have been tasked by the political leadership of my country to increase trade, promote business opportunities, investment and elevate cultural interaction,” Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi told state news agency WAM.
