Cayan Group and Saudi Arabia’s NEOM signed a deal for a second Hampton by Hilton hotel at the NEOM Community.

Under the new agreement, the vast 26,5000 square kilometre giga-project in northwest Saudi Arabia will see Cayan fully fund and develop the 201-key Hampton property to meet rising construction demand as critical earthworks progress at the site.

The agreement was signed at the International Hospitality Investment Forum in Berlin in the presence of Hilton’s President and CEO Chris Nassetta and Cayan Group’s Chairman Ahmed Alhatti.

“Further to the recent opening of Hampton by Hilton Sharma at NEOM’s Community site, we are excited to continue with our participation of being part of this visionary and unique project alongside Hilton, our globally recognised hospitality partner,” said Ahmed Alhatti.

“We believe in the vision of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, and we remain focused to continue investing within NEOM projects and securing more opportunities in the future.”

The new Hilton-managed hotel, construction of which will start soon, is slated to open at the beginning of 2025. It will be the second Hampton property at NEOM Community, delivering the brand’s signature seamless experience, amenities, and interiors.

“We’re delighted to be working again with Cayan Group to add another great Hampton by Hilton to our growing portfolio in Saudi Arabia,” said Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East & Africa.

“This signing asserts Hilton’s longstanding commitment to the growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom, where we are working with both public and private sector partners to respond to the rising demand for hospitality brands and expect to quadruple our presence in the coming years.”

The hotel’s design and construction will focus on sustainability and deploy energy-efficient systems. As NEOM moves forward on its ambitious targets, developing livability options like hospitality is an important milestone.
