Modem maker U.S.Robotics will establish its regional headquarters for the Middle East and North Africa in Dubai, effective immediately.
The office will be responsible for the operation, management and growth of the company’s businesses, partners and customer service across the Middle East and North African regions.
“The Middle East is a market that we have been watching for a while,” said Luis Baptista-Coelho, territory sales manager, Business Development Group for U.S.Robotics.
“We feel that this is the right time for us to establish a direct presence in this important and dynamic region. We bring a strong history of innovation, market leadership and customer focus to providers and users of Internet access products, and we will be increasing our focus in the Middle East and North Africa significantly with this move,” he added.
U.S.Robotics says it is bringing a new generation of modems, along with innovative solutions, to channel partners and end users. The move is also meant to allow the company to establish a technical support and customer base centre for the region.
