Dealerships edges out rivals in Beverly Hills, London, Beijing and Moscow to land 2013 title
Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer for Rolls-Royce in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, has won the Global Dealer of the Year Award for 2013.
The dealership repeated its 2012 achievement, edging out Beverly Hills, London, Beijing and Moscow for the title which recognises its sales and parts performance as well as aftersales standards.
Abu Dhabi Motors said in a statement that it achieved a sales growth of 23 percent last year compared to the previous year.
Abu Dhabi Motors was also honoured for being the bestselling Global Bespoke Dealer in 2013, a title it has claimed as its own for the fifth consecutive year.
Several Bespoke concepts were commissioned for Abu Dhabi last year of which the most notable were the Ghawwass, Home of Rolls-Royce edition and the Eco.
Several new concepts are set to be launched for Abu Dhabi during the course of 2014, the statement added.
Arno Husselmann, general manager of Abu Dhabi Motors, said: “We sold the most Rolls-Royce's in the world last year, achieved the highest bespoke sales, sold the most parts, were awarded the Aftersales Dealer of the Year, and our Brand Manager won the top Brand Manager award, thereby ensuring we have now won 11 Global Awards in the 11 years we have been representing the brand.
"This makes us the most successful Rolls-Royce dealer in the world, a position we are very proud to be in and one we respect, by seeking continuous improvement in every aspect of the business.”
He added: “Given our successful track record over the past years, considering we have the best people, a fantastic product range and the best infrastructure in place gives me confidence that we will deliver further growth for the brand over the coming years.”
In January, the Middle East unit of luxury car maker Rolls-Royce announced a 17 percent year-on-year sales increase in local markets.
The company said that the double-digit growth reflected "the status of the regional economy".
Globally, 3,630 cars were sold during last year, which represents the best sales result in the company's history.
Sales of Phantom Series II, Rolls-Royce's pinnacle family of models, scored a 45 percent growth in sales compared to 2012.
