Abu Dhabi plays host to e-education forum

Abu Dhabi Mens College is hosting a unique e-education conference in May that will be run by students and will attract students from 18 countries across the Arab world.

Abu Dhabi Mens College is hosting a unique e-education conference in May that will be run by students and will attract students from 18 countries across the Arab world.

The three-day event, running from 22nd –24th April 2001, will provide a forum for students to discuss the impact of technology on education in the 21st Century.

Keynote speakers at the International Conference entitled ‘e-ducation Without Borders’ will include His Excellency, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology while members of the Global Student Community will also present papers and run workshops.

The two main objectives of the conference are to build new strategies for the efficient delivery of E-education and to facilitate the establishment of a Global Student Forum.

More than 300 delegates from overseas are being invited to come to Abu Dhabi for the event. The entire registration process has been taken online in association with Comtrust.
