AC Milan superstars due to arrive in Dubai

Italian club ready for training camp, friendly match, new signing David Beckham in tow.

AC Milan's collection of global football stars were due to arrive in Dubai on Monday, ready for their Emirates sponsored training camp.The squad of 26 players includes AC Milan stalwart and club captain, Paolo Maldini, and new signing David Beckham, news agency WAM reported.

The former England captain was looking forward to getting acquainted with his new team-mates in training over the next nine days.

Another familiar face in Dubai will be Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho who will be joined by compatriot Kaka.

With the likes of Filippo Inzaghi, Russia's Andriy Shevchenko, Dutch veteran Clarence Seedorf and Gianluca Zambrotta also travelling to Dubai, the squad list is one of the best in Europe.

And football fans will have the chance to watch them train with two of the AC Milan sessions open to the public.

These will take place at the Al Nasr Club on December 30 from 5-6.30pm and on January 2 from 9.30am to midday.

The AC Milan players will also be in action on January 6 when they take on Hamburg SV in the Emirates and DTCM-sponsored Dubai Football Challenge which takes place at the new Emirates sports venue, The Sevens on the Al Ain Road.
