Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH) has unveiled plans for the US $100 million (BD37.7 million) Sunset Hills in Bahrain.

The mixed-use scheme will feature villas, townhouses, apartments and a retail component, and will be located next to ADIH's other major project in Bahrain, the $1 billion Al Areen development.

Sunset Hills, like Al Areen, has been designed by international architect firm, Erga. It covers 150,000m

"The fact that we are unveiling our second project on the island demonstrates the growth potential of Bahrain for world-class real estate and its attractiveness to regional and international investors," said Rashad Janahi, CEO, ADIH.

"Sunset Hills will complement the Al Areen community in which it is set and add to its profile as a tourism destination perfectly in tune with its natural environment."

ADIH has begun marketing Sunset Hills to sub-developers who are invited to buy clusters of plots within the project or the entire scheme.
