Gulf and African business leaders to speak at landmark event in Dubai on November 10
Some of the region’s top business leaders are slated to speak at the 12th Arabian Business Forum, which will take place at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai on November 10.
Hosted by BBC journalist and ITP chairman Andrew Neil, the theme for this year’s conference is ‘The African Opportunity’.
Among the keynote speakers are Sunil Vaswani, the chairman of Stallion Group, a conglomerate with extensive interests in Africa, and Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, the group chief executive of Etisalat, the UAE’s largest listed company.
Ashish Thakkar, the founder and chairman of Mara Group, and chair of the UN Foundation’s Global Entrepreneur’s Council, and Rassem Zok, the chief executive of Standard Bank, Middle East and North Africa will also be giving speeches.
Segun Aganga, former Minister of Trade and Investment from Nigeria, will also speak about opportunities and challenges in Nigeria, that is Africa’s largest economy by GDP.
There are also panel discussions on challenges associated with financing in the continent, the UAE as a gateway to Africa and the multi-national experience.
