Ahmed Mansour Al Ali (AMA) has been contracted to carry out the infrastructure and main construction works on the US $100 million (BD37.6 million) Sunset Hills project in Bahrain.
Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH) and Kuwait-based Sorooh Investment Company have awarded over $53 million in construction-related deals for the development. Dheya Towfiqi Engineering Bureau has been appointed as the consultant, while Bonyan International is the project manager.
The project will be completed in three phases. Construction is due to begin this week and is scheduled for completion in 2009.
Sunset Hills will feature villas, townhouses, apartments and a retail component, and will be located next to ADIH's other major project in Bahrain, the $1.2 billion Al Areen development. It will be spread over 44,000m
with a built up area of over 60,000m
The project has been designed by international architecture firm, Erga.
