Ajyal Information Systems’ focus on providing localised enterprise software solutions combined with the right client support, helped the vendor double its client base during 2006. However, chief technical officer Ameer Hussein is not one to rest on his laurels, believing that, with a strong show at GITEX Saudi Arabia 2007, the software vendor can enjoy a similar rate of growth in 2007.
“We have actually doubled our client base in 2006, meaning we have had new clients equaling our entire clients base before that year started. Of course, this only means we are even more ambitious [in 2007] as we target doubling the client base again, and increasing the revenue threefold,” explained Hussein.
Ajyal specialises in developing, serving and promoting business management software and offers a range of ERP and accounting applications. Established in 1989, the company initially focused its efforts on localised Arabic business solutions for Saudi clients, but in 2000 Ajyal embarked on an ambitious expansion plan, opening eight branches across the GCC states and also in Egypt.
“Ajyal produces business software, which is the general term for ERP solutions and accounting applications. Our flagship product is ASWAQ6 - a highly integrated business suite developed specifically for the Arab user and decision maker. We also develop tailor-made solutions such as line of business applications and business intelligence systems,” commented Hussein.
This year’s GITEX Saudi Arabia sees Ajyal building upon its strong showing at January’s Cairo ICT event, where the vendor promoted its flagship business suite product ASWAQ6.
