Al Jawzaa contract for Al Arrab

Al Arrab Contracting has won a US $15.8 million (AED58 million) contract for the construction of the Al Jawzaa development.

Al Arrab Contracting has won a US $15.8 million (AED58 million) contract for the construction of the Al Jawzaa development.

The Tameer Holding development will be located in the heart of Dubai International City (DIC). Al Jawzaa will comprise two six-storey buildings with a total of 180 freehold residential studio, one and two-bedroom properties. Swimming pools, a gym, health centre, banquet area, entertainment and rest facilities will also be included in the development.

This is the second project that Al Arrab Contracting will complete for the property developer, the first being the Regal Tower. The deal follows property developer Tameer's expansion strategy to execute its latest projects in conjunction with some of the leading construction firms.

Omar Ayesh, president of Tameer Holding said: "It is part of our strategy to choose contracting companies that are known for their performance in the construction market.

"The Dubai market is no longer satisfied with normal projects. Investors are looking for a product that come at international standards of development - forcing property firms to create more unique developments."
