Al Kamda wins GCC Nautilus distribution

Al Kamda has been awarded the sole distributorship of the complete range of Nautilus brands in the GCC.

Al Kamda has been awarded the sole distributorship of the complete range of Nautilus brands in the GCC.

Nautilus, developer and manufacturer of branded health and fitness products, owns the Nautilus range of health and fitness products for the commercial gymnasium and home training equipment; Schwinn Fitness accessories and cardio products; StairMaster, manufacturer of steppers, treadmills and exercise bikes; Bowflex strength products, cardio machines and accessories; and Pearl Izumi sports apparel.

The agreement with Nautilus will allow Al Kamda to further penetrate its existing commercial market. To date, Al Kamda has completed over 2500 projects in the Middle East alone, with 400 installations in the UAE, including the Nautilus Academy.

“We are honoured to have been awarded sole distribution rights for the GCC by Nautilus. This is a significant development for our business in that it will allow us to move into the retail market and establish direct end-to-end relationships with consumers,” said Reg Cox, CEO, Al Kamda.

“The Nautilus brand is synonymous with quality and innovation, and it has also been a pioneer in the industry, developing the first truly variable resistance machines. We look forward to a long and successful relationship,” he added.

According to Andrew Dick, vice-president international distribution at Nautilus, the Middle East has huge potential for the sports brand. “Al Kamda has established itself as a leader in the health and leisure industry in the Middle East, a region we have recognised as having huge business potential. Together, we will continue to lead the way in setting the agenda for the leisure industry in the region,” he said.
