Aldar Properties, a real estate development, management and investment company has announced it is to revise its Noor Al Ain project in line with recent building preservation guidelines enforced by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC).

The multi-use development in Al Ain will see Aldar develop several residential buildings, a retail centre, a hotel, offices and entertainment facilities. The original height of the projects will be reduced to adhere to UPC guidelines, the company said.

"Falah Al Ahbabi, UPC General Manager, said: "We appreciate the cooperation and dedication Aldar has shown in revising the Noor Al Ain development to adhere to the principals of the plan. This truly shows the constructive partnership already established between the government and private sectors to serve the Abu Dhabi Emirate's 2030 plan," he said.
