Almasa briefs Kuwaiti resellers on IPG programmes

Almasa gives IT sellers in Kuwait rundown of HP's latest channel programmes

Almasa has given IT resellers in Kuwait a rundown of HP’s latest imaging and printing channel programmes at a recent in-country event co-hosted with the vendor.

Senior executives from both companies, including HP’s partner business manager KV Narayanan and local HP enterprise account manager Tarek El-Achkar, attended the summit, which saw more than 60 Kuwaiti dealers turn out.

Lancy Menezes, deputy general manager of Almasa’s imaging and printing group business, introduced various HP-driven channel initiatives, such as the MFP trade-in-programme and HP up-sell programme. He also provided an overview of the incentives on offer to channel sales staff selling multi-functional products.

Kuwait has been a market of particular focus for Almasa during the past year. The company has invested in strengthening its in-country operation with a local warehouse and sales force, as well as offering the channel local credit and invoicing.

“As the competition is getting stiffer in Dubai, Almasa has been driving excellence in distribution and addressing the in-country business to offer a better customer experience in terms of credit, JIT and customer intimacy,” declared Menezes.
