Alwaleed Philanthropies will deliver homes and cars to 1,697 beneficiaries in Saudi Arabia from this Eid-Al-Fitr, it has been announced.

The delivery is the sixth installment of the foundation’s Housing and Car Grants project, which provides housing and cars for Saudi citizens who are not eligible for aid provided by the Ministry of Housing.

The initiative aims to provide 10,000 housing units and 10,000 cars to Saudis across the kingdom over a 10-year period.

It aims to provide extra disposable income to families on a budget, to help them increase their savings.

The latest phase marks the one-year anniversary of the scheme. So far, 5,283 Saudi men and women benefited from the grants, according to Saudi Gazette.

Alwaleed Philanthropies is chaired by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud. It runs a range of philanthropic projects in Saudi Arabia and worldwide.
