Amanah tech, a web hosting solutions company, founded by 28 year old Nezar Freeny from Sudan in Saskatchewan, Canada is making its debut at Gitex after its landmark agreements with Al Ghurair Private Company and the Government of Qatar. The company today according to Freeny, its CEO, also serves start-ups, and Middle Eastern owned businesses in North America.Amanah caters to small and large businesses and serves its clients in multiple cultures with around the clock technical support in Arabic and English. The company offers custom hosting packages, collocation services, domain name registration in addition to a number of other solutions.Amanah distinguishes itself, from the more expensive North American companies, by providing cost efficient services tailored to customer needs. Freeny considers the deal struck with Al Ghurair as a result of a precisely executed export strategy to build a reputation in a region where “it’s who you know before what you know.”The company which employs just under 10 people and has been exporting its services since 2001, derives 90% of its revenue from exports to the Arabian Gulf.In total, 30 Canadian companies make up the Canadian pavilion at Gitex this year. Anne Argyris, Canadian Consul and Trade Commissioner to Dubai told the Gitex Times, “The Gulf market is very important and the UAE is becoming more and more interesting to Canadian companies as IT is one of our priority sectors.”
