US giant prepares for roll out of long awaited products
Apple is planning a global launch of its wearable watch device and the new iPhone 6, both on September 9, according the respected technology blog Re/Code.
It is expected that the watch will be named iTime, while the new phone will come in 4.7inch and 5.5inch screens.
'Apple plans to unveil a new wearable alongside the two next-generation iPhones we told you the company will debut on September 9,' Re/Code said. The website added: “The new device will, predictably, make good use of Apple’s HealthKit health and fitness platform. It will also — predictably — make good use of HomeKit, the company’s new framework for controlling connected devices — though it’s not clear how broadly or in what way.”
The watch is expected to have a 1.5inch screen and can communicate with other devices via Bluetooth.
