APTC goes virtual

APTC is using this week’s Gitex to demonstrate its virtual reality software, which the company says is the first such solution to be made available in Saudi.

APTC is using this week’s Saudi Gitex to demonstrate its virtual reality software, which the company’s chief executive officer, Adel Abdel Aziz Al Sagr, says is the first such solution to be made available in the Kingdom.

Developed over a two year period, the virtual reality engine and library allows users to generate realistic three dimensional images.

For example, it can import AutoCAD house designs and give users a virtual tour through property once they have donned a HMD head mounted display. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to try the V-Home solution for themselves.
