Arabic stars Carole Samaha and Fady Andraos are set to perform free at the Wakestock Abu Dhabi festival next month, organisers announced on Wednesday.

They will perform alongside the rock bank Maximo Park and hip hop legends De La Soul at the free festival on the Corniche from March 4-6.

Lebanese actress turned singer Samaha will perform some of her biggest hits on the first night of the festival, while Arabi reality TV star Andaos will appear on the Friday night.

“The eclectic programme of live music offers the perfect soundtrack for an amazing weekend. With the inimitable friendly Wakestock atmosphere and the beautiful setting on the Corniche in the heart of Abu Dhabi, this is set to be one of the best festivals yet,”  Mark Durston, Wakestock founder and CEO said.

Other entertainment includes appearances by wakeboarding stars and live broadcasts by Radio 1 throughout the festival.
