Veteran Bank Audi employee, Samir Hanna is attributed with growing the bank to become the largest in Lebanon and among the top 20 Arab banking groups. He has helped expand the bank into twelve countries, with consolidated assets worth more than $28 bn and consolidated deposits of more than $24bn. Hanna started at the bank in January, 1963, working his way up through positions as general manager and in charge of restructuring and expanding the bank.
Hanna is also a director of several of the banks’ affiliates and sister companies. He currently serves as the group chief executive officer, chairman of the Group Executive Committee and heads all aspects of the bank’s executive management.
In the early 1990s, Hanna initiated the restructuring and expansion strategy of Bank Audi, transforming it into a strong banking powerhouse that offers universal banking products and services.
