Arabtec has been awarded a US$115m contract to build 411 villas at the Bani Yas Residential Development-West in Abu Dhabi.

Arabtec has been awarded a US$115m contract to build 411 villas at the Bani Yas Residential Development-West in Abu Dhabi from the UAE's Ministry of Presidential Affairs.

The villas are to be built for use by UAE nationals.

Hasan Abdulla, managing director of Arabtec Holdings, said: "We are very pleased and honoured to receive this contract to build 411 villas especially that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is one of our very important clients," he said.

"Arabtec is a market leader in the construction of villas and has built over 11,000 villas in the past few years."

He added that the company's board had issued instructions to "pay extra attention to this project and ensure that the highest standards are exceeded at the best prices".
