Monty Python’s West End stage show Spamalot is coming to Dubai this year.

Dubai Opera is getting ready to host its first ever comedy show in May, with with six performances over the five days - from Wednesday May 2 to Sunday 6.

Spamalot is spun off from Monty Python’s classic 1975 movie, as lead character King Arthur embarks on a bold quest to find an elusive and ancient treasure.

On his travels, Arthur encounters mutinous knights, surprisingly aggressive rabbits and alarmingly ferocious Frenchmen.

The Tony Award-winning show is written by legendary comedian and Monthy Pyton origainal Eric Idle. He also wrote the musical score for the show, which includes Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.

Tickets for Spamalot are available from AED250 online at www.dubaiopera.com with a special early bird discount of 20% available if you book before 5pm on Thursday February 15.
