The one-time performance will recreate the club's famous 1980s hits
At a one-off performance, Graeme Park and Mike Pickering, the DJs of the famous 1980s UK nightclub Haçienda, will reunite with symphony orchestra The Manchester Camerata to recreate some of the world’s most well-known house hits at Dubai Opera on November 22, 2018.
The Haçienda nightclub had closed down over 20 years ago in Manchester, but has since recreated several performance, including one in the UK last year.
The DJs will perform popular hits such as Pacific State, Voodoo Ray, Ride on Time and You’ve Got The Love.
Dubai Opera, a multipurpose space, will transform into a full flat floor venue featuring beverage stations within the auditorium.
“For anyone who loves the incredible club anthems of the 1980s, this is going to be the party night of the year, as the music of two legendary Hacienda Club DJs combine with a full live symphony orchestra in the magical surroundings of Dubai Opera, said CEO of Dubai Opera Jasper Hope.
