Pop music icons A-ha are coming to Dubai Opera with their Hunting High And Low tour next February 11, 2020.

The Norwegian trio, who dominated pop charts worldwide during the ’80s, are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their hugely influential debut album Hunting High And Low and its timeless classic hit Take On Me.

A-ha singer Morten Harket, keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Pål Waaktaar-Savoy – have sold more than 55 million albums and remain one of the UK and Europe's most loved pop bands, regularly playing stadiums and festivals.

The tour will see A-ha play their 1985 debut album Hunting High And Low in its entirety. Selling more than 11 million copies worldwide, it included the juggernaut Take On Me.

Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy will be performing new and old, familiar and less-familiar songs, as well as the ten songs off their 1985 debut album Hunting High And Low in the running order of the original release.

“A-ha have been an incredible and inspirational band from the very beginning and with a string of already-sold-out arena shows across Europe they’re proving they have lost none of their appeal," said Jasper Hope, chief executive of Dubai Opera.

"I can’t wait to welcome them to Dubai Opera for one of their most intimate shows on this tour.”

Tickets start from AED250 and go on sale Tuesday 2 July at 5pm. Tickets will be available to purchase from www.dubaiopera.com. Limited Early bird offer of 20% off on VIP and Platinum tickets valid until July 16.
