Club Social 2020, headlined by Liam Gallagher, Kaiser Chiefs and Clean Bandit, was set to take place in the UAE later this month
A music festival headlined by Liam Gallagher, Kaiser Chiefs and Clean Bandit, set to take place in the UAE later this month, has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Organisers said in a statement on Tuesday that Club Social 2020 has been postponed until further notice "out of concern for the health and well-being of our attendees".
Club Social 2020 was scheduled to take place from March 12-14 at Yas Links, Yas Island, but will now take place at a later date this year, organisers said.
"This decision is the result of careful assessment and consultation with leading entities in Abu Dhabi," they added.
Ticket-holders who purchased their tickets from TicketMaster will be reimbursed. For any further inquiries, please email email@example.com.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and reassure fans that a new date for the festival will be announced soon," the statement went on to say.
A number of high-profile events in the UAE and the wider Gulf region have been cancelled amid the spread of the new coronavirus, including the Dubai International Boat Show.
