Asian graphics card ace sets sights on Middle East channel

Asian graphics card ace sets sights on Middle East channel
Michael Chu says Manli is looking for systems builders, distributors and retailers

Hong Kong-based graphics cards maker Manli Technology is casting its net in search of partners in the Middle East as part of plans to expand outside of the Far East.

The company, which also produces motherboards, netbooks and multimedia products, is eager to work with local assembly companies as well as distributors that can offer it a path into the regional retail channel.

Michael Chu, sales director at Manli, believes the company’s track record of working with the channel in Asia is evidence of its partner-centric philosophy.

“We’ve show the channel here [in Asia] that Manli is all about quality as well as margins,” insisted Chu. “Distributors and retailers across the Pacific are working with us and it’s only natural that we’d want to extend into the Middle East. We are actively looking for distributors, system assemblers and retailers to work with our extensive line-up of components and finished goods.”Manli is an Nvidia authorised supplier and a joint venture partner with Hong Kong-based PC Partner, an ATI-certified graphics board producer.

Although Manli boasts a 13-year history of manufacturing graphics cards, it recently diversified into the burgeoning netbook arena by launching an array of consumer models.
