Zen Dlamini is the Executive & Head for Sovereign & Public Sector for Client Coverage SA for Corporate & Investment Banking at Standard Bank. In this role, Zen is responsible for the Sector Strategy, working with Government across various segments including SOCs, Regulators, Policy Makers and various Stakeholders to drive economic growth and create value.
Zen is an experienced Executive with meteoric background in the financial services industry. In her 15-year tenor with the bank she has led teams across various Sectors including Diversified Industries, Mining & Metals as well as Construction & Cement. Highly skilled in Transactional Banking, Markets, Structuring, Risk, Restructures and Client Coverage with the ability to deliver on struggling entities.
Prior to joining Standard Bank, Zen worked for Absa and Nedbank in various roles including Risk Management and Sales as a Provincial Head and Regional Sales Manager within Corporate & Business Banking Segments. Zen sat on 3 Provincial Advisory Boards and Leadership Forums.
Zen holds an MBA from the University of Wales Cardiff.
