A number of Avaya partners have been commended for their efforts during the past year following the vendor's recent MENA Business Partner Awards ceremony in Dubai. Avaya dished out 13 awards to enterprise and SME channel partners for their accomplishments throughout the last 12 months.
UAE-based Future Technology scooped the overall partner of the year award, while Proligix - a relative newcomer to Avaya's partner ecosystem - took the equivalent title in the SME sector for surpassing many partners in terms of revenue and expertise.
Orascom Tecnhology Systems won the contact centre of the year award, while Oman-based reseller Jawad Sultan Technology netted the unified communications accolade. Saudi outfit Jeraisy bagged the customer transformation award.
AS Bughshan and Bros, Atcom, Lojain Communications and Fakro Electronics also returned home with awards, while Aptec Gulf was presented with the SME distributor award.
Roger El-Tawil, channel and marketing director at Avaya, insists the company will continue to invest in driving sales through the channel. "We will continue to reinforce our partnerships through a clear channel strategy, scalable infrastructure and value-based programmes, ensuring success through leveraging and obtaining new capabilities to increase market share," he stated.
