Avaya, a specialist in IP telephony, unified communications, and contact centre solutions is planning to showcase its latest offerings for flexible working and unified communication, contact centres.

"Gulfcomms / GITEX Technology Week is a melting pot of IT and communication professionals, and an excellent opportunity for Avaya to meet them and showcase Avaya's solutions and product roadmaps," said Roger El Tawil, director of channel and marketing - Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

"Year-on-year we have witnessed an increase in attendance at our stand and interest from customers and visitors. Last year, we received positive feedback for the products we showcased, and the real life experiences we extended to our visitors."

This year, Avaya aims to repeat this experience and build on existing relationships, while establishing alliances and new business partners. "Our focus this year is on unified communications. We will fully extend and demonstrate our IP telephony solutions and provide a better understanding of how an effective communication system reduces costs, enhances business agility, and boosts productivity," El Tawil said.

The Middle East plays a significant role in Avaya's operations worldwide. El Tawil said Avaya has experienced double-digit growth in revenues and has been expanding its activities across the region to tackle rising customer demand.
