Air partner to arrange sales between airlines and buyers, expects good airline-to-airline interest
A London based aviation company has launched a global matchmaking service aimed at pairing sellers of used airplanes with buyers.
Air Partner, which provides aviation services to industry, commerce and governments, said it is currently working with two airlines to sell a total of four aircraft including three 180 seat Airbus A320-200s and one 37 seat Embraer135 regional jet.
The London firm, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, is also looking for eleven additional aircraft to buy on behalf of four airlines, two of which are flag carriers.
In a statement, Pietro Perrotta, an Air Partner senior sub-charter and leasing specialist said: “Our position in the commercial jet leasing and charter market means that we are especially well placed to undertake this role. Having established initial airline-to-airline interest, we are able to introduce interested purchasers to aircraft lessors or financial agencies arranging sales.”
