Official data shows the kingdom’s annual inflation is at its lowest level in 23 months.
Annual inflation in Bahrain slowed to 2.7 percent last month, its lowest level in at least 23 months, the Gulf Daily News reported.
Food prices have declined month-on-month, the paper reported. The consumer price index was 109.4 points at the end of last month, compared with 106.5 points a year earlier, the Central Informatics Organisation said.
Data showed food and non-alcoholic drinks prices fell to 124.3 points last month from 124.9 points in May.
