Parliamentary elections will be held in Bahrain on November 22, the official state news agency announced on Tuesday.

Bahrain king, His Majesty King Hamad issued a decree announcing elections will take place on November 22, with a possible second round scheduled for November 29.

“The Royal Order invited voters whose names feature on the voting rolls to report to the electoral committees and cast their votes on November 22, 2014, from 08:00 AM till 08:00 PM as per law 14 for 2002 on exercising political rights,” the Bahrain News Agency reported.

Under the Royal Order, nominations for candidates can be submitted to competent committees in different electoral constituencies across Bahrain from October 15-19.
