Balqees Fakhro is a celebrated artist who was born in Bahrain in 1950. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lone Mountain College in San Francisco, California in 1975. Now living in Bahrain, she is a member of the Formative Art Society as well as the Artists Group of the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council.
