Gulf Air passengers from Bahrain to Frankfurt will be offered free rail transport across Germany under a new partnership with German travel firm Rail & Fly.

Under the collaboration, Gulf Air passengers can obtain free two-way Rail & Fly tickets to Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart and Dusseldorf when they purchase flights from Bahrain to Frankfurt on Gulfair.com.

The deal is available throughout 2015 and is intended to supplement the daily service between Bahrain and Frankfurt already provided by Gulf Air.

Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Mr. Ahmed Janahi said: “For the remainder of 2015 we are giving passengers the opportunity to avail of complimentary onward domestic travel, via Deutsche Bahn [railway], when booking and flying with Gulf Air to Frankfurt International Airport.

“We are delighted to enhance movement across Germany whether it is for business or tourism in line with our mission to facilitate travel across our network.

“This offer follows our recent announcement of enhanced, and complimentary, onwards connectivity beyond Athens to an additional 14 destinations across Greece,”.
